Over the last six months, the Aubin team has been working with Solent Transport to deliver a specialist trial of our accessible journey planning platform within the Solent Future Transport Zone. The project aims to make public transport more accessible for neurodivergent travellers and people with additional accessibility needs.
We have introduced real time bus data, local cycle hire information, fare information, and detailed wayfinding for five key rail stations across the region. We’ve also added travel advice and assistance links to the app.
Thank you to the students at Southampton College who joined us for a workshop session, and to the travel training team at Southampton Council for their invaluable support.
We are now ready to pilot Aubin in the region to gather feedback on what works well and where improvements are needed. Your feedback will contribute to the Solent Future Transport Zone’s reporting to the Department for Transport, helping to shape future national policy and accessibility standards as well as helping us to continue to improve Aubin.

Providing Feedback
Travel Journal
We would like to hear about the journeys you complete using Aubin. A short “Tell us about your journey” questionnaire is available at the end of each journey in the app.
You can also find it any time in the Settings page.
You do not need to complete a Travel Journal for every journey, especially if you travel often.
Please try to complete around five during the trial if you can.
Trial Feedback
Towards the end of the trial, we will ask you to complete a final feedback form to tell us your overall thoughts about Aubin.
General Feedback
You can use the feedback form in the app’s Settings tab to tell us what you like, what you don’t like, or to report any issues you experience. We use your feedback to make improvements during the trial.
